CyberBrokers
Futuristic GUI for a post-apocalyptic metaverse
CyberBrokers are building a free-wheeling, vivid and exceptionally entertaining new world of NFT collectibles. All co-owned and created alongside their fans.
200 years from now, beneath our frozen earth, the last of humanity plug their minds into a virtual playground where anything goes. Welcome to The Paradigm Lost… home of the CyberBrokers!
An expanding universe
The CyberBrokers team needed a website that can keep pace with the future of entertainment and community they are creating. It had to be an intuitive on-boarding for new fans while letting dedicated fans go deeper and deeper.
We created a site that's more than a place to store stories… it's a part of those stories.
In all directions
We explored multiple creative territories with CyberBrokers' founder, digital artist Josie Bellini before settling on "The Pinboard". This infinite canvas Homepage is designed to float visitors inside this metaverse, surrounded by incredible characters and relics.
Users can examine 3D objects, turn them over, and then dive deeper into their stories - exploring 10,001 character profiles, AI-generated locations, or data chips containing the latest tales from the 'Brokers' lore.
Colour design system
The CyberBrokers NFT collection is super-colourful, so we established a darker feeling for the site to let the colours burst. We created a colour-theming system that responds to the content on each page and displays a complementary palette for its UI elements.
“Name me a hotter website than CyberBrokers. Like really, name one.”
Josie Bellini
Founder of CyberBrokers
Future visions
Our UI design was inspired by futuristic OS with influences like GMUNK, Fallout and Snow Crash. The interfaces are retro-future holographic but intentionally glitchy - as if they've been patched together for two centuries!
“We created micro-identities for many of the fictional brands that exist within the lore.”

Drawing on the lore
The stickers on the Homepage were created by our team to feel like cyberpunk graffiti and featuring moments from the lore. We designed the Location pages as “Live Feeds” from the future, as scanning them with high-tech binoculars while breaking news hits the HUD.
User controlled
We wanted a sense of exploration to run deeply through the site. Each CyberBroker character can have its on-chain SVG layers (aka clothes), turned on and off to uncover hidden qualities.
Users are co-creators in this world rather than just consumers. You can purchase and assemble giant robot NFTs for your characters then port them into different 3D applications to tell your own stories.
“Everything should feel collectible, like you can just pick it up.”

Growth engine
The CyberBrokers website is built to grow, and has already expanded with a network of sites including Pretty's Loot Store, and the Snap Shak Mech Garage.
Built on Storyblok the site has an deeply flexible system allowing CyberBrokers' team to keep it constantly updated as their universe expands. And custom interfaces allow them to add new relics to the Homepage or 3D locations pages.
